While the parents in cities worrying about the overnutrition of their children, kids in the poverty-stricken mountain areas in the Midwestern China are worrying about their lunch. 幸福，對于那里的孩子們來(lái)說(shuō)出奇簡(jiǎn)單，只是一餐熱騰騰的午飯。
Happiness, extremely simple for those kids, is just a hot lunch. 在貴州一些貧困山區的小學(xué)，還沒(méi)有建立住宿制，更沒(méi)有食堂，一些學(xué)生每天上學(xué)來(lái)回要走 4 個(gè)小時(shí)的山路，中午常年吃從家中帶來(lái)的土豆、苞谷飯、炒玉米，有些孩子喝自來(lái)水填肚子，甚至有為數不少的學(xué)生什么都沒(méi)吃，餓著(zhù)肚子上課。一些山區學(xué)校的校長(cháng)告訴我們，大概有 60%的學(xué)生中午什么都不吃。
The primary schools in some of the distressed area in Guizhou have no dormitory let alone canteen. Some children who cover 4 hours’ mountain road to go to school and get back home have to eat potatoes, corn meal and fried corn they bring from home all year round and some drink running water to full their belly, there’re about 60% even eat nothing according to a principal there. 去年，來(lái)自全國各地的義工在貴州省納雍縣羊場(chǎng)鄉實(shí)施小學(xué)生免費午餐項目，到目前為止，已經(jīng)幫助三個(gè)山區學(xué)校（納雍縣羊場(chǎng)鄉保衛小學(xué)、場(chǎng)壩小學(xué)及其管理的中壩教學(xué)點(diǎn)）的孩子吃上了免費午飯。
Last year, volunteers from all over the country came to Yangchang Town, Nayong County, Guizhou Province to make free lunch for the primary school students. Up to now, they have already provided free lunch for the children of three mountain areas( the Primary School of Yangchang Town, Nayong County, the the Primary School of Changba and its teaching breach in Zhongba ). 上周，都市快報特派記者沈雁冰和攝影記者許康平走訪(fǎng)了貴州省黔西縣、納雍縣、大方縣的 8 所山村學(xué)校，實(shí)地探訪(fǎng)免費午餐項目。
Last week, the accredited journalist of City Express—Shen Yanbing and the press-photographer—Xu Kangping visited 8 village schools of Qianxi County, Nayong County and Dafang County in Guizhou, interviewed the Free-Lunch Program in the field. 免費午飯的伙食標準是米飯、蕓豆酸菜湯和水煮雞蛋。米飯和湯不限量，不夠吃可以再打，雞蛋每天一個(gè)（蕓豆酸菜湯是當地的家常菜）。這樣一頓午飯需要 2 塊 3。為了增加營(yíng)養，每周五免費午餐中給每個(gè)學(xué)生增加了 2 兩肉，每頓額外加 2 塊 5。
A standard free lunch costs
2.3 ￥ which consists of rice, a boiled egg and kidney beans pickled cabbage soup (a local homely dish). The amount of rice and soup is not limited. In order to increase nutrition, they will give two liang of meat to each student every Friday which costs 2.5 ￥more. 按照每學(xué)期學(xué)生在校 110 天計算，供應一個(gè)學(xué)生一個(gè)學(xué)期的免費午餐需要 308 元。Let’s say there are 110 days for each semester. The money we need to provide a student a whole semester’s lunch is 308 ￥. 義工們在網(wǎng)絡(luò )上公開(kāi)每筆捐贈記錄、餐費支出等詳細內容，還設立了第三方監督機制、電話(huà)抽查家長(cháng)等，結果也都一一公布在網(wǎng)上。
The volunteers published the detailed records of every donation and expense and set up the third superintendence and hotlines to spot check parents whose result is also published on the internet (website). 場(chǎng)壩小學(xué)校長(cháng)張海說(shuō)，以前很多人給學(xué)生每學(xué)期捐贈現金，有些錢(qián)被家長(cháng)拿去喝酒或打牌了，“免費午餐是最實(shí)惠的捐助方式”。
Zhang Hai, the principal of The Primary School of Changba, said many people used to give donate money which they thought was the most useful way, however some parents spent the donation given to their children in gambling and alcohol. 除了納雍縣的三所學(xué)校實(shí)施了免費午餐項目外，4 月 1 日，黔西縣中建鄉紅板小學(xué)的學(xué)生吃上了免費午餐，4 月 2 日，黔西縣花溪鄉沙壩小學(xué)的學(xué)生也吃上了免費午餐。
Apart from the three schools in Nayong county, children of the Hongban Primary School in Jianxiang Town, Qianxi County also received the free lunch on 1 st
April. So did the students in Shaba Primary School of Huaxi Town Qianxi County on 2 nd
April. 都市快報記者在現場(chǎng)看到，實(shí)施免費午餐的學(xué)校，孩子們吃得干干凈凈，一粒米飯也不剩。
As the journalist of City Express, we saw the clean plates of children in those schools who have free lunch. 記者在采訪(fǎng)中還發(fā)現，當地眾多孩子的家長(cháng)常年在外務(wù)工，不少家長(cháng)的務(wù)工地就在浙江。納雍縣羊場(chǎng)鄉政府工作人員說(shuō)，全鄉 6000 多個(gè)外出務(wù)工人員中，至少有 40%在浙江。
We also found that many children’s parents work outside their hometown all year round, 40% of whom, according to the officials of Yangchang Town Nayong County’s Government, work in Zhejiang Province. 采訪(fǎng)中，我和攝影記者許康平常常這樣問(wèn)自己：他們?yōu)檎憬?jīng)濟的發(fā)展貢獻了自己的力量，而在他們身后，自己的孩子還在為午飯發(fā)愁。我們是不是該為他們身后留守的孩子做點(diǎn)什么？ During the interview, the press- photographer and me asked ourselves constantly: “ While they are devoting to the economic development of our hometown, their children are still worrying about their lunch.
Is it passable that we should do something for their children?”
